The AWS Advanced Reverse Osmosis Process:
Pre-Filtration: When the water first enters
the AWS Reverse Osmosis system, it flows through a pre-filter that protects
the membrane from clogging with debris. The job of the pre-filter is to filter
out larger particles such as silt, rust or scale extending the life of your
R.O. membrane.
Carbon: After the water leaves the pre-filter, it then enters
the carbon filter which reduces chemicals, such as chlorine, that may be in
your water supply.
Membrane: Water then travels to the operational center of the
system, the membrane. The membrane reduces 93% - 98% of dissolved mineral salts
and other contaminates in your potable water supply. The particles that are
too small to be trapped by the pre-filter are removed from the water stream
and rinsed to the drain.
AWS - Advanced Pump: The Advanced Pump is a self-hydraulic
driven pump. The Advanced Pump eliminates the back pressure on the membrane,
which greatly enhances the overall performance of the AWS Advanced Reverse Osmosis
system and saves 1000's of gallons of water from going down the drain.
Post Carbon Filter: Water in its final stage passes through
the post carbon filter, polishing and removing any odors before reaching your
glass. The carbon imparts the final "sweet" taste to your water.
