Point of Entry Applications- Whole House Chlorine Reduction
Point of entry (POE) water filters treat an entire water supply to a building and are commonly called whole house filters. This type of filter is most commonly used to remove chemicals such as chlorine and treat hard water. Although, it is important to say that no one single whole house filter is sufficient for the typical home. Generally combinations of different types of filters are used to provide a whole house water solution. We offer a whole house chlorine reduction filter that uses Granular Activated Carbon (GAC).
Point of Use Applications- Shower Filter
Point of use (POU) water filters are used to treat a small amount of water. An alternative to installing a filtration unit that treats an entire water supply is a point of use filter. A common POE filter is a chlorine reduction shower filter. This small filter is easily added to a shower head and reduces chlorine as the water is used. This is a great option for families that live in apartments or simply do not have the capability of installing a whole house filter. For the reduction of chlorine and other chemicals in shower water we offer a small filter that is easily added to most showers.
